Technical explanation

Potentiometric Titration: A titration method used to measure rapid changes in pH at the endpoint.
Pressure output: A high-pressure pump provides pressure to the incoming water.
Pressure difference: The movement of a fluid through any channel, such as a pipe, particle bed, or membrane, dissipates a certain amount of energy. The pressure value at any point is the energy content of the fluid at that point. However, since the energy at these points will gradually be consumed as the water flows to the second point downstream, the water pressure at the downstream point will be less than the water pressure at the original point. The energy consumed (resulting in pressure drop) depends on the flow rate and viscosity of the fluid, as well as the size and shape of the channel. Pressure drop is usually expressed in psi or kPa (kilopascals). Pressure drop is sometimes referred to colloquially as "delta P".
Net pressure: Net output pressure minus average osmotic pressure.
Net pressure output: The average value of the inlet water pressure and the total pressure in the concentrated fluid upstream of the pressure control valve.
Effect of pressure on output: The output of a reverse osmosis system changes directly with the net pressure.
Recovery Rate: The principle of reverse osmosis treatment, the recovery rate is the percentage of water produced by osmosis after reverse osmosis treatment.
Resistivity: Resistivity is a measure of the ability of any substance, such as water, to carry an electric current. It is expressed in units of ohm-cm and is the equivalent of conductivity. Measurements of resistivity are often used to evaluate the quality of water produced by deionizers. Resistivity and conductivity are temperature dependent. The usual reference temperature is 25 C.
Silt Density Index (SDI): The Silt Density Index (SDI) is a representative index used to represent the ability of water to clog any filter membrane or screen. The SDI index is usually measured by installing an air inlet pressure regulator and a pressure gauge at the water inlet, with a filter element holder with 0.45 μm micropores at the rear. Need this commercial test suite and need instructions on how to calculate the index. Looking forward to your call or email to learn more about the Siltation Index product!
